Gold Plated 925 Sterling Silver products are water safe, hypoallergenic and safe for consistent wear. Sterling Silver based pieces are slightly more delicate than stainless steel and require a little TLC to ensure they last you a lifetime!
Although completely safe to wear everyday to the gym, the beach and when showering, if not appropriately cleaned, any residues remaining from sweat / perfumes / lotions etc could cause the plate to fade overtime. We recommend;
- Clean your pieces weekly, this can be done with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. A gentle dish soap would work just fine!
- Clean your ears and piercings weekly as naturally produced sulphur from your sweat can affect plating overtime.
